Earl V. Graves, 65, of Flomaton, died Thursday, March 21, 2019 after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Graves was a resident of Flomaton for 57 years, coming from the Mobile, Ala. and Century, Fla. areas. Employed with Exxon Mobile as an operator, he was a member of Little Escambia Baptist Church and an avid fisherman.
The funeral was held at 3 p.m., Saturday, March 23, at Flomaton Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Hill and Dr. Larry Patterson officiating. Burial followed at Traveler's Rest Cemetery in Flomaton with Flomaton Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Graves is survived by his wife, Joyce “Cricket” Graves of Flomaton; one son, Bo (Audrey) Odom of Flomaton; three daughters, Brianne (Shawn) Hoomes of Brewton, and Kristen (Matt) Arrington and Susie Odom, both of Flomaton; one sister, Linda (Donald) Johnson of Flomaton; and nine grandchildren.
Mr. Graves was preceded in death by his parents, Earl V. Graves, Sr. and Mary Lee Roberson Graves Cole; one brother, John Mitchell Cole; and other extended family members.
