Andrea Kay Harmon Byars, 53, died Sunday, April 7, 2019.
Mrs. Byars was born Dec. 22, 1965 to Jack and Evana Harmon in Hammond, Ind. A 1984 graduate of Hardin County High School and 1986 graduate of Florida College with an Associate of Business Education, she married and lived in Lakeland, Fla. Sfor 12 years before moving to Oak Grove, Fla. Working as a substitute teacher for six years and helath technician at Northview High School for eight years, she was in the PTA and FFA and community and a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ.
The funeral was held at 4 p.m., Monday, April 8, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Brad Sullivan officiating. Burial followed at Oak Grove Cemetery with Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Byars is survived by her husband, Perry Byars; one son, Micah (Heather) Byars of Waycross, Ga; one daughter, Andrea (Zach) Huff of Huntsville, Ala.; her mother; three brothers, Alan (Thelma) Harmon of Ridgeway, Va., Grady (Margret) Harmon of Huntsville, Ala. and Stephan (Betsy) Harmon of Killen, Ala.; and 13 nephews and nieces.
Mrs. Byars, was preceded in death by her father, Jack Harmon of Huntsville.
