Ruby Jean Dixon

Ruby Jean Dixon, 78, of Flomaton, died Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Jay Hospital.

Mrs. Dixon was a native of Bay Minette who lived most of her life in Flomaton. She was a member of Fannie Baptist Church.

The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 13, at Fannie Baptist Church with Rev. Hiraim Stanton officiating. Burial followed at Damascus Cemetery with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.

Mrs. Dixon is survived by four sons, Robert (Hazel) Green and Murphy (Linda) Dixon, both of Brewton, Commodore Dixon of Century and Dewight (Kathy) Dixon of Flomaton; three daughters, Deborah Salary of Pike Road, Ala., Christine (Willie) Bradley and Cynthia (Timothy) Davenport, all of Flomaton; two brothers, Eddie Crenshaw of Oregon and Earl Thompson of Bay Minette; four sisters, Lula Kemp of Benton Harbor, Mich. Alma Lee of Irvington, N.J., Priscilla Dixon of Flomaton and Donna Jenkins of Parlin, N.J.; 34 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and family members and friends.

Mrs. Dixon was preceded in death by her husband, Murphy Dixon, Sr.; and her parents, Rubin Jenkins and Millie Thompson.
