At 11:37 a.m., Friday, April 12, the Flomaton Fire Department responded to a call about an MVA at the intersection of Sidney Manning Boulevard and Poplar Street in Flomaton.
When emergency personnel arrived on scene, they found a Titan Transfer 18-wheeler, driven by 34-year-old Jeremy Everette which had rear-ended a Toyota Corolla, driven by 24-year-old Michael Price.
The traffic report stated that the Corolla was stopped at the red light in the outside lane of Sidney Manning Boulevard at the intersection of Poplar Street. Price was in the outside lane headed straight.
Everette was traveling north on Sidney Manning Boulevard in the outside lane going straight and struck the rear of the Corolla, which caused it to turn slightly and strike the passenger side of a 2006 Tacoma in the left lane driven by 75-year-old Linda Steadham waiting to turn left onto Poplar. Everette continued with enough momentum that he traveled over the stop line before coming to rest.
There were no injuries and Everett was issued a citation for following too close.
