Flomaton man jailed on multiple charges
A Flomaton man pulled over for having no tag lights was arrested after an officer discovered methamphetamine, crack cocaine and marijuana inside his vehicle.
Wesley Evans Chunn, 47, 408 S. Carnley St., was arrested Friday night and charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance (meth and crack), unlawful possession of marijuana II and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to police reports Flomaton Officer Derrick Hodges was on patrol when he initiated the traffic stop near the intersection of Highway 113 and Highway 31.
The driver, later identified as Chunn, gave consent to search his vehicle. Hodges reported finding a cigarette pack in the center console that contained three plastic baggies. Two of the baggies contained meth and one contained crack. He also reported finding a plastic bag in the door panel that contained marijuana.
A search of Chunn also revealed two pipes in his pocket.
Chunn was transported to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton and jailed on $5,000 bond.
