Clinton Eugene Watson, 61, died Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at a Montgomery, Ala. Hospital.
Mr. Watson was born in Atmore and had been a lifelong resident of Escambia County, Ala. Of the Christian faith, he had worked as a tug boat captain for Gulf South Marine Transportation.
The funeral was held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 26, at Weaver Cemetery with Rev. Doug Greer officiating. Burial followed with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Watson is survived by his wife of 21 years, Chrissie Laster Watson of Brewton; four sons, Clinton Dean Watson of Atmore, Michael Watson of Pensacola, and Shane Watson and Nicholas Laster, both of Brewton; four daughters, Christy Watson and Catrina Watson, both of Castleberry, Ala., Carly Watson of Brewton and Cheyenne Watson of Montgomery; one sister, Ann Watson of Castleberry; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Mr. Watson was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Marietta Watson; one son, Clinton Eugene Watson; one brother, Timmy Brown; one sister, Emma Smith; and one grandchild.
