Barbara Ann Homan, 69, died Friday, May 3, 2019 in Mobile.
Mrs. Homan was a native of Eliska, Ala. who had resided in Phillipsville, Ala. for the past 40 years. Of the Pentecostal faith, she cared for others, raising two grandchildren.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 7, at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Sisters Helen Stewart and Wanda Hadley and Rev. Craig Hayles officiating. Burial followed at Hall's Fork Church of God Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Homan is survived by by two sons, Carl Dale Bryars of Phillipsville and Barry Lynn (Kim) Homan of Bay Minette; one daughter, Stephanie Gayle (Aubrey Weaver) Homan of Nokomis, Ala.; three brothers, Joe Edward Hayles of Bay Minette, Jack Allen (Becky) Hayles of Satsuma, La. and James Larry (Penny) Hayles of Phillipsville; three sisters, Estelle Louise Bartley of Phillipsville, Ruby Jean (Lenwood) Sager of Monroeville, Ala. and Sarah Ann Garrett of Poarch, Ala.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Homan was preceded in death by her parents, Hinson and Cannie Hayles; and one brother, John Arthur Hayles.
