A Flomaton man pulled over for an expired tag ended up in the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton on drug charges after officers found a bag of methamphetamine in his pocket.
Jesse Lee Hall, 45, was arrested Sunday and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
According to reports, Flomaton Police Chief Bryan Davis initiated the traffic stop at 10:19 a.m. on Highway 31 at Upper Creek Road.
Police reported seeing a pair of brass knuckles inside the vehicle and when Chief Davis patted Hall down for officer safety he found a bag containing a substance that tested positive for meth.
Hall was jailed on $5,000 bond.
