William L. Etheridge, 77, of Navarre, Fla., died Sunday, Sept. 8, 2019 in Navarre.
Mr. Etheridge was born Aug. 27, 1942, to William E. and Eunice Bryars Etheridge in Atmore. Retired from the U.S. Air Force, he served in the U.S. Army as a Staff Sargent and during the Vietnam Conflict.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 14, at the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at Bryars-McGill Cemetery with full military honors and Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Etheridge is survived by two sons, James (Shelly) Etheridge of Pace and Jason Etheridge of California; two daughters, Sybil Etheridge of Pensacola and Joleen Etheridge of Navarre; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Etheridge was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Bryars Etheridge; his parents; and one sister, Midge Richburg.
