Witnessing the utter nonsense in Washington over an ostensible whistle blower report about President Trump’s phone call with the Ukrainian president, there are literally not enough words to describe total BS. The crazed liberal media complex and panicked Democrats are drowning in bovine scatology. Unable to defeat Trump in politics or policies, leftist press and politicians rushed to judgement in what they thought was another opportunity to destroy Donald Trump. Even “Never Trumpers” came out of hiding hoping to be vindicated. Alas, it is not to be. Trump Impeachment Hoax 2.0 started unraveling as quickly as it emerged.
First, we must realize we now live in the Soviet media era; almost all national media reporting is fake news. Initial reports are universally misleading if not generally wrong, so dismiss them. Watch news items develop over several days and eventually some dribbles of truth will seep out; and of course seek out primary sources. Like reading the actual transcript of Trump’s call amply shows Democrats and media twisted it beyond recognition.
The Washington Post brazenly lied about Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire claiming he threaten to resign if not allowed to testify openly; he flatly refuted that report as a LIE during his Congressional testimony. Representative Adam Schiff recited his incredibly false version of Trump’s phone call making it sound like Mafioso extortion. When called on the patently false and misleading narrative; he excused it as parody. Really? His personal work of fiction is grounds for impeachment? His lies should remove a president?
Leftist hacks insisted we must heed the whistle blower’s report because it must be devastating if a patriotic bureaucrat is willing to come forward. Eventually we learned the whistle blower had NO firsthand knowledge of the phone call, so how did he suspect it was treasonous? Then we learn the whistle blower is one of former CIA Director John Brennan’s CIA officers. Wait, so Obama’s CIA holdovers are still spying on the Trump Administration?!
This should infuriate every American. These guys are unelected and have NO standing to second guess the president in foreign policy. We elected Trump not some CIA spy. The president has full Constitutional authority to conduct American foreign policy; he is not subject to unelected bureaucratic review. The president MUST be able to speak candidly and forcefully with other nations to negotiate cooperation or compliance. What foreign leader will now speak openly with President Trump knowing their conversation may be leaked? This so called whistle blower has exceeded his purview and violated his trust.
This CIA traitor must be fired if not charged. This spying on and undermining a duly elected president will only stop when they start going to jail. This guy is a good place to start.
Despite tortured contortions by pundits, President Trump can discuss corruption with foreign leaders even if it involves other Americans. Should every international criminal run for president to avoid investigation? Haven’t Democrats been preaching Trump is not above the law? So why is Biden now above the law?
The double standard is breathtaking and beyond aggravating! National Review’s Andrew McCarthy reminded us that in 2016 the Obama Administration pressured Ukraine to reopen a dormant corruption investigation of Trump’s campaign manager, Paul Manafort! What?! Wait! The Obama Administration asked Ukraine for help in investigating their political opponent to influence the 2016 election!!! Where were the calls for impeachment then?!
How is this any different? This is where the media fails miserably. Democrats claim Obama asking for Ukrainian assistance is justified because Manafort was just so corrupt, so media lets it slide. But Biden is a good guy, so Trump looking into his corruption is election interference. Hillary Clinton can hire a former British spy to buy false dirt on Trump from Russian spies to feed to the FBI, but that is justified because Trump is a bad guy.
The two situations are actually different. Ukraine was desperately trying to resist Russian incursions, so they needed American assistance. Obama and Biden exploited this desperation to pressure Ukraine. Obama and Clinton wanted dirt on Manafort and Biden wanted to protect his son’s cash cow. The conversation between Trump and the Ukrainian president clearly demonstrated BOTH presidents were concerned about corruption in their countries. They both pledged to investigate the corrupt Ukrainian energy company and corrupt Americans like Biden’s son. They both recognized Biden and Obama’s ambassador to Ukraine were involved in the corruption. They were on the same page, not coercing one another.
Hunter Biden was dishonorably discharged from the Navy for cocaine abuse. He has no experience in energy or knowledge of Ukraine, so how did he get appointed to a Ukrainian energy company board at $50,000 per month? Then Vice President Biden is on video bragging about getting the prosecutor investigating that company fired. Does it take a rocket scientist to see why Hunter Biden was hired? Could you imagine if Trump and his son had done this?!
Democrats running willy-nilly with impeachment nonsense has average Americans incensed, so fret not. It will come to nothing except that Democrats just lost the House and Biden’s campaign is mortally wounded, so just enjoy the delicious irony. President Trump goaded the Democrats into investigating Biden to impeach him.
