Autry Lee Tucker, 86, died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019, in Atmore.
Mr. Tucker was a native of Monroe County, Ala. and had resided in Atmore for most of his life. He was a member of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, the Atmore Apostolic Church, where he played the drums, and former grounds keeper with the tribe.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 25, at the Atmore Apostolic Church. Burial followed at New Home Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Tucker is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lillie Bell Tucker of Atmore; one son, Jereme Waylon (Thresa) Tucker of Atmore; one daughter, Wanda Joyce (John) Byrne of Atmore; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by his step-father and mother, Ara and Taft Sagers.
