Horace “Pee Wee” Sims, 85, died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019 in Atmore.
Mr. Sims was a native of Evergreen who had resided in Atmore since 1985. A U.S. Army veteran and avid outdoorsman, he was a member of the Atmore Country Club and attended the Little River Holiness Church.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 27., at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral home with Rev. D.L Harville officiating. Burial followed at Poplar Springs Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Sims is survived by two sons, Terry Sims and Thomas Sims, both of Atmore; two daughters, Debbie (Steve) Albritton and Pamela (Mike) Godwin, both of Atmore; two brothers, David (Annette) Faulk of Lapine, Ala. and Thomas “Jr.” (Melanie) Sims of Red Level, Ala.; one sister, Jewell Faulk of Waynesboro, Miss.; 17 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Sims was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sims; his parents, Ed Sims and Willie Mae Faulk; three brothers; and three sisters.
