Addie Mae Morris Lowery, 78, of Jay, died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola.
Mrs. Lowery was born on May 29, 1941, to Emory and Irene Morris in Jay. A 1959 graduate of Jay High School, she was a homemaker.
The funeral was held at12 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 6, at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bobby Carnley officiating. Burial followed at Cora Cemetery in Jay with Flomaton Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Lowery is survived byher husband of more than 59 years, Melvin Wayne Lowery of Jay; one son, Rickey (Amanda) Lowery; one daughter, Sandy (Tommy) Cox; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members.
Mrs. Lowery was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Carlos “Buddy” Morris; and one sister, Margie Spears.
