Flomaton High School took its first lead against St. James with 16.1 seconds remaining in the game Friday night and that proved to be enough as the Hurricanes defeated the Trojans 20-19 in the second round of the Class 3A playoffs to set up this Friday night's quarterfinal clash with T.R. Miller.
T.R. Miller will travel to Flomaton for the 7 p.m. game just four weeks after Flomaton clinched the area title Oct. 25 with a 21-12 win at T.R. Miller.
