Calvin Lee Crenshaw, 63, died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2019.
Mr. Crenshaw was born Feb. 28, 1956, to Charle Lee Crenshaw and Rosie Curry Crenshaw Williams Nokomis, Ala. He attended the Escambia County school system and worked at Standard Furniture Company for several years before he moved to Philadelphia in his early twenties, where he worked at a distribution factory for many years. He moved back to Atmore and reunited with Mt. Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 23, at Empowerment Tabernacle Christian Center with Pastor La'Coshia Williams officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Christian Memorial Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Crenshaw is survived by his wife, Anita Walker Crenshaw of Philadelphia; four sons, Calvin Lee, Jr. and Ezekiel Crenshaw, both of Philadelphia, Tyrone (Regina) Crenshaw of Atmore and Cedric Russell of Atlanta; two daughters, Tracie (Robert) Logan of Fredericksburg, Va. and Neysha Crenshaw of Philadelphia; five brothers, Charlie Crenshaw, Jerome Crenshaw and Anderson Crenshaw, all of Philadelphia and O'Neal Crenshaw and Winston (Satoria) Crenshaw, both of Atmore; six sisters, Elmira Crenshaw and Helen Crenshaw of Philadelphia, Veronica (Steve) Jenkins of Pensacola and Gwendolyn Crenshaw, Renee Crenshaw and Joyce Crenshaw, all of Atmore; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; amd numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Crenshaw was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Willie Clarence Crenshaw and Gilbert Lee Crenshaw; one sister, Elaine Brown; and numerous other extended family members.
