Beginning Jan. 3, 2020, the Northwest Florida Rural Healthcare Network in conjunction with Services of Pensacola will begin providing round trip shuttle services between Jay and Century, Florida.
Round trips will be scheduled at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, except on holidays, starting at Jay Medical Complex and Hospital. Riders will be transported to Lakeview Center and Century Medical Center with immediate return services to Jay Medical Complex/Hospital.
The cost for this service will be $2 for one-way trips and $3 for round trips.
Riders are subject to the code of conduct guidelines to help ensure the safety, security, comfort and convenience of passengers. These guidelines are as follows: no eating, drinking or open alcoholic beverages are allowed on the van; tobacco use is not permitted on the van; no explosive, hazardous or flammable material is allowed; weapons are prohibited; no vulgar or abusive language is allowed; no pet, except service animals consistent with ADA guidelines, are allowed; no illicit drugs or drug use allowed; proper attire, including shirt and shoes, must be worn; headphones are required for personal devices (CD player, smart phones, or other media devices); minor children must be accompanied by an adult 18 or older; bulky items should be stored and away from passenger walkways; and seat belt use is required.
All passengers are required to abide by this code of conduct. Failure to comply may result in a passenger removal or receipt of a trespass form from the van.
