Labarron Mitchell, 43, died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2019.
Mr. Mitchell was born Dec. 26, 1976, to Charles Ray Crook, Sr. and Linda Faye Crook (Jimmy) Marshall. He attend- ed Escambia County High School as a 1996 class mem- ber. He was a member of Gaines Chapel AME Church in Atmore.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 3, at Empowerment Tabernacle Christian Center with Bishop Catadro North officiating. Butial followed at Fairview Cemetery with Christian Memorial Funeral Directors directing.
Mr. Mitchell was survived by his parents; one brother, Charles Ray (Ashley) Crook, Jr. of Huntsville, Ala.; five sis- ters, Tenika (Donzell Lyons) Crook, Laporchia Crook and Graneshia Savage, all of Atmore, and Tracie (Kenny) Newton and Annalese (Derrick) Hodges, both of Brewton; and numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and other rela- tives and friends.
Mr. Mitchell was preceded in death by three sisters, Glenda Ann Franklin, Brenda Ann Poindexter and Cynthia Crook; eight grandparents, James Carl Mitchell, Sr., Mary Alice Mitchell, Albert and Ersalee Crook Daily, Ireter P. Hollinger, Mary Petterson, Evelyn Willis and Mary Rhodes; and numerous extended family members.
