Phillip Daryl Williams

Phillip Daryl Williams, 65, died Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020, in Nokomis, Ala.

Mrs. Williams was a native of Atmore who had resided in Nokomis, Ala. for most of his life. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and Alabama Army National Guard, he worked at the Pensacola NAS with more than 30 years of service. He was a member of Nokomis Baptist Church and was an avid outdoorsman.

The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 15, at the Nokomis Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Hill and Bro. Dennis Daniel officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Williams is survived by his wife of 38 years, Kay Charmaine Williams of Nokomis; three sons, Sean (Venetia) Corbitt of Phillipsville, Ala., Christopher (Jessica) Corbitt of Rabun, Ala. and Heath (Ashlee) Williams of Nokomis; one daughter, Charmaine (David) Paul of Nokomis; one brother, Frank H. (Jimmie) Williams of Atmore; two sisters, Sandra (Donald) Lambert and Debbie (Ricky) Fore, both of Nokomis; and eight grandchildren.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Geraldine Williams.
