Jacqueline “Jackie” Anita Jackson, 59, of Flomaton, died Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020, in a Pensacola hospital following a brief illness.
Mrs. Jackson was born Sept. 17, 1960 to Otha and Katie Lou Owens Howington in Conecuh County, Ala. and was a longtime resident of Flomaton. Of the Assembly of God faith, she was a 1978 graduate of Repton High School and former travel nurse who worked as an RN at Covenant Home Health.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 23, at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Darby officiating. Burial followed at Flomaton Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by one son, Joey (Brandi) Williams of Excel, Ala.; one daughter, Kelly (Wayne) Morgan of Atmore; three sisters, Ann (Fred) Balkcom of Brewton, Judy (Mack) Baggett of Excel and Betty Burch of Flomaton; and five grandchildren.
Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Shelton Howington and James Howington; and one sister, Doris Booker.
