Marion Phillip Andrews, 90, of Brewton, died Monday, Jan. 20, 2020, following a brief illness.
Mr. Andrews was born Nov. 28, 1929, in Brewton and was a former resident of San Diego, Calif., where he worked at San Diego Harbor Boat and Yacht Company and San Diego Marine Company, before moving back to Brewton. A member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, he was a graduate of W.S. Neal High School and a retired machinist from Jefferson Smurfitt with 19 years of service.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 24, at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Bryan Garrett and Rev. Wayne Morris officiating. Burial followed at Zion Hill Cemetery in Brewton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Andrews is survived by one son, Mark (Shannon) Andrews of Pace, Fla.; one daughter, Debra (Jerrell) McRae of Brewton; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
