Betty Joyce Carpenter, 76, of Robertsdale, Ala., died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2020, at a Pensacola healthcare facility.
Mrs. Carpenter was born Sept. 18, 1945, in Pineview, Ala. and had been a resident of Robertsdale for several years. A homemaker, she was of the Christian faith.
A graveside service was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 1, at Pineview Cemetery. Burial followed with Flomaton Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Carpenter is survived by two sons, Wayne Golden of Robertsdale and Richard (Sheryl) Golden of Pensacola; one brother, Sam (Brenda) Bagwell of East Brewton; one sister, Alice Faye (Bob) Forte of Pineview; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Carpenter was preceded in death by one son, Carl Leonard Chancery; one daughter, Sharon Denise Chancery; her parents, J.C. and Pauline Evans Bagwell; three brothers, Douglas Bagwell, James Bagwell and Glendel Bagwell; and two grandchildren.
