Elaise Washington Bonner, 84, died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2020.
Mrs. Bonner was born Jan. 27, 1936, to W.J. and Irene Darby Whatley in Lowndes County, Ala. A homemaker, she was a member of Apostolic Faith Church.
The funeral was held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 8, at Apostolic Faith Church in Century with Pastor William W. DuPont officiating. Burial followed at Century Cemetery with Christian Memorial Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Bonner is survived by her eight children, David Sanders of Mobile, Larry L. (Angelina) Ware, Sr. of Brooklyn, Ala., Charles Washington of Century, Calvin Washington of Decatur, Ala., Tyrone L. (Angela) Bonner of Columbus, Ga., Dorothy Washington of Brewton, Gloria A. Grace of Flomaton and Stephanie Washington of Pollard; one brother, Bobby Joe Whatley of Greenville, S.C.; and numerous grandchildren, nephews, nieces and other family members.
Mrs. Bonner was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Earl Bonner, Sr.; and one sister, Ella Louise Jones.
