James Bell, 67, of the Range community, died Monday, Feb. 3, 2020 at an Evergreen hospital following a brief illness.
Mr. Bell was born Aug. 21, 1952, to Narvel and Verlie Crutchfield Bell in Monroeville, Ala. And had been a lifelong resident of Range. A 1972 graduate of Repton High School, he retired after 42 years of service with L and N and CSX Railroads in the bridge department.
A graveside service was held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 8, at Johnson Cemetery with Rev. Frankie Bell officiating. Burial followed with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Bell is survived by one daughter, Brandy Lett of Range; one brother, Jerry (Theresa) Bell of the Pineview community; and many nephews, nieces and cousins.
Mr. Bell was preceded in death by his wife, Kim Lambert; one son, Christopher Bell; and his parents.
