Ralph Darnell Hearndon, 65, of Brewton, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2020, in a Pensacola hospital.
Mr. Hearndon was born in Fort Sill, Okla. and had been a resident of Brewton for the past 45 years. A member of Jubilee Full Gospel Church, he worked as a market manager in the grocery industry.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Jubilee Full Gospel Church in Riverview with Bro. Reo Pugh and Bro. James Gay officiating. Burial followed at Weaver Cemetery in the Appleton community with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Hearndon is survived by his wife of 45 years, Rosie M. Bentley Hearndon of Brewton; three brothers, Lavell Hearndon of Lucedale, Miss., Eddie Hearndon of Lake Eufaula, Ala. and Dewayne Hearndon of Texas; one sister, Darlene Best of Texas; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nephews, nieces and other family members.
Mr. Hearndon was preceded in death by one daughter, Sharon Smothers; his parents, James L. Hearndon and Mary N. Carter Hearndon; one grandparent, Clara Garrett; and other family members.
