Deborah Ann Wilson, 69, of East Brewton, died Sunday, Feb. 23, 2020 in East Brewton.
Mrs. Wilson was born Oct. 14, 1950, in Buffalo, N.Y., and had been a resident of the Brewton area since 1995, coming from Milton, Fla. She was a writer of a number of children's books, wrote a novel, parables of Christ and poetry.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by two sons, Matthew Rabe and Shawn Myers, both of East Brewton; four daughters, Michelle Ann Rabe of Brundidge, Ala., Mellissa May Barr of Splendora, Texas, Rebeccah Lynn (Vance) Ates of Jay, Fla. and Tiffany Myers (Peter Ray Thompson) of East Brewton; two brothers, Richard Carl Wilson of Columbia, S.C. and Edward James Wilson of Beaufort, S.C.; two sisters, Karen Johnson-Clabeaux (Cory) of Gowanda, N.Y. and Kathryn Maddox of Beaufort; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by one son, T.J. Bogue.
