Peggy A. Moye, 84, of Atmore, did Thursday Feb. 27, 2020, in Century, Fla.
Mrs. Moye was born Nov. 19, 1935, in Escambia County, Ala. To Edgar and jesse Maude Keller Coker. A member of the Presley Street Baptist Church, she was a retired chemical operator from Monsanto.
The funeral was held at 12 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 29, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joseph Simpson officiating. Burial followed at Moyeville Cemetery with Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Moye is survived by her husband, John C. “J.C.” Moye of Atmore; her children, Richard (Pam) Moye of Bay Minette, Ala., Debra Thrower of Atmore, Tony (Kim) Lambert of Satsuma, Ala., Rondel ((Karen) Moye of Sharon, S.C., Robert (Janice) Moye of Bratt, Fla. and Regina (James) Hare of Walnut Hill, Fla.; two brothers, George Coker and James (Susie) Coker; two sisters, Faye (Mike) Morris and Mille Purvis; 16 grandchildren; 21 greatgrandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Moye was preceded in death by her parents; and four siblings, Elbert Coker, Evelyn Thurman, William Coker and Bobbie Stallworth.
