Carol Elaine Wilson Van Hoosen, 57, of Brewton, died Wednesday, April 1, 2020, in a Pensacola healthcare facility.
Mrs. Van Hoosen was a native of Brewton, where she had lived for 21 years, after relocating from Flomaton. Owner and operator of Tri-City Florist and The Brewton Flower Shop, she attended New Haven Holiness Church.
A graveside service was held at 12:30 p.m., Friday, April 3, at Little Escambia Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Randy Steadmen officiating. Burial followed with Flomaton Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Van Hoosen is survived by her husband, Barry E. Van Hoosen of Brewton; one son, Brandon (Stephanie) Hammonds of Pollard; one daughter, Michele Harrison of Brewton; her mother, Carolyn Wilson of Brewton; one brother, Robert “Hub” (Kathy) Wilson of Bratt; one sister, Dorothy Wilson of Flomaton; 15 grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Mrs. Van Hoosen was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Robert Earl Wilson, Sr.; one sister, Sherry Dunsford; and one grandchild.
