Janice Louise Beck Cook

Janice Louise Beck Cook, 85, of Wing, Ala., died Tuesday, April 14, 2020 in a local nursing facility following a brief illness.

Mrs. Cook was born July 16, 1934, in Covington County, Ala. A former resident of Okaloosa County, Fla., and a resident of Wing, Ala., she was a member of the Union Hill Church of Christ and graduate of Escambia Farms High School. She retired as a cutter from the Alatex Plant in Andalusia, Ala., with 38 years of service.

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m., Friday, April 17, at Union Hill Cemetery. Burial followed with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Cook is survived by one son, Keith (Kathy) Cook of Wing; one daughter, Karen (Paul) Rydowski of Wing; two brothers, Quinton Beck and Pebo Beck; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Cook; one son, Kenyon Wayne Cook; two brothers, Ronald Beck and Reginald Beck; and one sister, Shirley Chessher.
