Chester Bluford Byrd, 80, of Atmore, died Thursday, April 23, 2020, in Pensacola.
Mr. Byrd was born Sept. 18, 1939, to Vester L., Sr. and Nola Mullins (Byrd) Kizer, in McCullough, Ala. A member of Judson Baptist Church, he owned and operated Byrd's Heating and Air for many years, before retiring.
A graveside service was held at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 26, at Oak Hill Cemetery with Bro. Brett Chancery officiating. Burial followed with Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Byrd is survived by his wife, Earline F. Byrd of Atmore; two sons, Douglas (Kulua) Bryd and Michael (Tiffany) Byrd, both of Atmore; one daughter, Angie (Blevin) Davis of Milton, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Mr. Byrd was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Charles Douglas Byrd and Vester L. Byrd, Jr.
