Royce Rodgers Layton, 85, of Brewton, died Tuesday, April 21, 2020, in a Pensacola hospital following a brief illness.
Mr. Layton was born Nov. 8, 1934, to Royce Fayette and Fannie Rodgers Layton, in Brantley, Ala.
A former resident of Montgomery, he was a long-time resident of Brewton. A graduate of Sidney Lanier High School in Montgomery, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran and member of the Brewton First United Methodist Church.
