Tucson E. Amerson, 80, of Bratt, Fla., died Thursday, May 7, 2020.
Mr. Amerson wa born Aug 6. 1939, to Floyd Armstrong and Inez Amerson, in Bratt. A Vietnam veteran who served in the U.S. Navy for more than 13 years, he retired from the bag plant at St. Regis, Champion, International Paper Company with more than 27 years of service. He enjoyed motorcycles and the outdoors.
A graveside service was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 9, at Bratt-Godwin Cemetery with Bro. Dillon Parham officiating. Burial followed with Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Amerson is survived by three daughters, Adrianna (Barry) Sager and Tammy Amerson, both of Bratt, and Michelle (Allen) Driskell of Byrneville, Fla.; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family members and friends.
Mr. Amerson was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Linda Amerson.
