Social distancing is still in place

All facilities at Hurricane Park in Flomaton are now open as well as the other town-owned parks which include Oak Commons Park on Martin Luther King Drive and Abernathy Park.

Her order also opens venues such as bowling alleys, theaters and arcades and educational institutions are allowed to open June 1.

Beaches are open with no limit as long at the 6-foot social distancing guidelines are followed.

Suspect sought

The Flomaton Police Department also said it is seeking information to identify the person who cut a lock to a gate at Hurricane Park Tuesday to gain access to the ball fields. If the person is identified, they will be prosecuted. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police department at 296-5811.
