Yvonne Savage Bradley

Yvonne Savage Bradley, 67, of Cantonment, Fla., died Saturday, June 13, 2020.

Mrs. Bradley was a native of Tarboro, N.C. who resided in Walnut Hill, Fla. for many years and Cantonment for two weeks. Employed at the Grain Elevator in Walnut Hill and as a substitute teacher for the Escambia County (Ala.) Board of Education, she was a member of Gaines Chapel AME Church in Atmore, where she worked in various positions, including as a Sunday School teacher and Women's Day Coordinator.

The funeral was will be held at 12 p.m., Friday, June 19, at New Birth Baptist Church in Pensacola with Rev. Floyd Peacock and Rev. Cleitus Walker, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Barrancus National Cemetery with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.

Mrs. Bradley is survived by two sons, Rodney (Desiree) Bradley of Mobile and Patrick Bradley of Cantonment, Fla.; three brothers, Rufus Savage of Rocky Mount, N.C. and Ernest (Wanda) Savage and Vernon (Vickie) Savage; four sisters, Kattie (George) Cherry, Erma (Dewey) Revis and Bessie (Stanley), all of Rocky Mount and Myrian D. Savage of Pinetops, N.C.; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Mrs. Bradley was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin L. Bradley; her parents, Ernest and Bessie Savage; and two brothers, Homer Savage and Dennis L. Savage.
