Ular C. Moorer, 63, of Walnut Hill, Fla., died Friday, July 17, 2020, at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola.
Mr. Moorer was a native of Atmore and longtime resident of Walnut Hill, Fla. A 1976 graduate of Ernest Ward High School in Walnut Hill, he had worked as a laborer for the Escambia County (Fla.) Road Department and was a member of New St. Paul Baptist Church in Walnut Hill.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 25, at New St. Paul Church Cemetery with Rev. Sammie Moorer officiating. Burial will follow with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
Mr. Moorer is survived by his wife, Lorene Moorer of Walnut Hill; two sons, Eric Moorer of Flomaton and Devin Moorer of Atmore; one daughter, Tatweta Moorer of Walnut Hill; three brothers, Thomas Williams of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Glen Moorer of Atmore and Joey Moorer of Pace; six sisters, Lois Stokes and Hattie Ewing, both of Atmore, Diane Thames of Walnut Hill and Gloria Moorer, Tammy Moorer and Vera Simpson, all of Century; and five grandchildren.
Mr. Moorer was preceded in death by two daughters, Sheena and Shaquetta Moorer; and his parents, David and Zelma Moorer.
