Maxine Childress Creamer

Maxine Childress Creamer, 68, of Flomaton, died Friday, Aug. 7, 2020, following a brief illness.

Mrs. Creamer was born Oct. 21, 1951, to David Allen and Daisy Rosie Zinta Moye Childress, in Atmore. A lifelong resident of Flomaton, she attended Pleasant Home Church and was a 1969 graduate of Flomaton High School. She was employed as a weaving machine operator at Sheltex where she retired with 10 years of service.

The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 15, at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Mitch Herring officiating. Burial followed at Pollard Cemetery in Pollard, Ala. with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Creamer is survived by one son, Jason (Marandia) Davidson of Flomaton; one brother, Aubrey Childress of Flomaton; one sister, Jean Odom of Flomaton; and eight grandchildren.

Mrs. Creamer was preceded in death by one daughter, Sandy Calloway; her parents; one brother, Millard Childress; and one sister, Helen King.
