Nannette Cobb Shell, 87, died Friday, Aug. 7, 2020.
Mrs. Shell was born March 3, 1933, to William Rufus and Nancy Lowery Cobb in Atmore. A resident of Atmore for 84 years, she had resided at Westminster Village in Spanish Fort, Ala. for the past three years. She retired from both Atmore Milling and Elevator and later, Escambia County (Ala.) High School School System.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Shell is survived by her husband of 69 years, James Howard Shell; one son, James Burton (Kim) Shell of Pawley's Island, S.C.; one daughter, Nancy Shell (Gary) Fayard of Atlanta; and five grandchildren.
Mrs. Shell was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Bill Cobb and Ty Cobb; and one sister, Linda Bodtke.
