Last Saturday, July 31, three local high school seniors competed for college scholarships in the Distinguished Young Woman event at Flomaton high School auditorium. Above, from left, First Alternate Sarah Hartley, T.R. Miller High School, won Spirit of DYW; DYW winner Sydney Aaron, W.S. Neal High School, won Fitness, Interview, Self Expression and Scholastics; and Second Alternate Madison Lambeth, Flomaton High School, won Be Your Best Self Essay and Talent.
