Candidates file final financial reports

Editor’s note: In last week’s edition of the Tri-City Ledger, there were some errors in the outside contributions given to local Escambia County (Ala.) residents.

Local candidates running in May 24 Republican Primary filed their final reports with the Alabama Secretary of State’s office this week. Not including funds candidates donated to their own campaigns, the following is a list of other donations to their campaign:

Cindy Jackson, candidate for the District 4 seat on the county school board: $200 from Randall Little of Brewton on May 1 and $1,000 from Creamer Dozer Service, Inc., of Brewton on March 31.

Sherry Digmon, candidate for the District 6 seat on the school board: $1,000 from Charles and Linda A. Godwin of Atmore on April 29.

Scottie Stewart, candidate for the District 3 seat on the county commission: $1,000 from American Concrete Supply of Gonzalez, Fla., on March 31; $1,000 from C&C Hauling Co., of C&C Hauling Co., of Gonzalez, Fla., on March 31; $2,000 from Cooper Pulpwood of Castleberry, Ala., on March 31; $1,000 from South Alabama Materials, Inc., of Gonzalez, Fla., on March 31; $1,500 from Thomas Arrington of Flomaton on March 31; $150 from Thomas W. Ashcraft of Atmore on March 31; $1,000 from Drive Committee FEC of Washington, D.C., on Feb. 28; and $5,000 from the the Poarch Band of Creek Indians of Atmore on Jan. 1.

Larry White, candidate for the District 3 seat on the county commission: $500 from J.R. and Betty Jones of Flomaton on April 4; and $1,000 from Harvey and Betty White of Flomaton on March 1.

Billy Blair, candidate for the District 3 seat on the county commission: $200 from Jerry Bell of Brewton on April 30; $100 from Robin D. Brewton of Brewton on April 2; $100 from Robert Carden of Flomaton on Jan. 31; and $200 from Robin D. Brewton of Brewton on Jan. 31.
