Easter Bunny is set to arrive

Flomaton, Jay kick off festivities Saturday

With Easter Sunday on March 31, the next two Saturdays feature local events for children and adults to fill their Easter baskets with eggs, candy and even cash, as Flomaton and Jay kick things off this Saturday, March 23. The Easter bunny will be in the area to take pictures with the kids at various events.

Atmore

Atmore Public Library is having an on-going Scavenger Hunt where children can hunt for clues until Tuesday, March 26. They will draw names on Wednesday, March 27 to announce winners. Prizes can be picked up on March 27 and Thursday, March 28, at the library.

Brewton

Brewton will have an 'Eggsciting Egg Hunt' at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 30, at Dogwood Hills Park in Brewton. A free event, there will be 10 prize eggs with $100, children's and adult baskets and the Easter Bunny will be on-site for photos. There will also be free hot dogs offered.

Century

The Century Chamber of Commerce will host Egg the Park, a community Easter egg hunt from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, March 30, at Showalter Park. There will be free snacks, a bounce house, bunny photos, a food truck and the Golden Egg with cash inside. To be a sponsor or fro more information, contact 850-256-3155.

There will be an Easter Egg Hunt at Century Library from Monday, March 25 through Thursday, March 28. They will have 3D printer Easter Eggs hidden throughout the stacks of books in the library.

Oak Grove Baptist Church will host a Hot Air Balloon Easter Egg Drop at 5 p.m., Saturday, March 23, at 2600 N. Highway 99 in Century. Egg drop, basket drawings, free food, popcorn, bouncy houses, Easter Bunny and more. Family-friendly fun with balloon-filled sky. Everyone welcome.

Family Day at Runamuck Ranch walk-through spring farm event will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 30, on Rigby Road (follow signs) in Century. It offers an outdoor, family-friendly spring event with miniature cows, miniature donkeys, goats and various small animals. There will be hay rides and games. East Brewton

Anna Bell's Attic Ministries, Inc. will have an Easter Food Box for Seniors giveaway from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, March 30, at The John L. Fischer Center at 301 Liles Boulevard in Brewton. Flomaton

The Town of Flomaton will hold the 3rd Annual Flomaton Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, March 23, at Dewey J. Bondurant, Jr. Park, located at 21001 Highway 31. Easter Egg Dash at 10 a.m. with prize baskets, food, spring arts and crafts, kiddie train, bounce house and more. Some eggs will have candy, others will have candy and cash. Free vendor registration. Jay

The Easter Bunny will visit the Jay Library, located at 5259 Booker Lane, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, to hand out eggs.

Poarch

Wind Creek Atmore is offering 'Get Your Photo with the Eater Bunny' from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, March 30, at the Wind Creek Casino and Hotel Entertainment Center.
