U.S. Marshall's track down Isaiah Finney
An Atmore man who had active felony warrants for his arrest from incidents that occurred in Atmore in September and November, 2023, was arrested April 18, by agents with the U.S. Marshall's Service when the suspect came back to Atmore.
Isaiah Terrell Lee Finney, 22,145 Golden Road was charged with certain persons forbidden to possess firearms, attempting to elude police and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Atmore police reports state Finney was in possession of a firearm when he was arrested and was transported to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton.
According to police reports, Atmore investigators identified Finney as the suspect of an incident when he discharged a firearm at an occupied vehicle and another incident where they accused Finney of fleeing from police while the officers were investigating the shots-fired complaint. Police stated they recovered firearms in Finney's vehicle at the time.
Police also said Finney is a suspect in other recent shootings that are currently being investigated and police are waiting ballistic tests to determine if more charges will be filed.
