Brewton woman charged with trafficking Kratom, illegal weapon, marijuana, paraphernalia
A Brewton woman is being held on $1 million bond after being arrested Monday, June 10, on multiple charges including trafficking after police reported finding 1.03 pounds of Kratom pills in her possession.
Cerena Michelle Billock, 40, 256 Faulkner Road, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana I, trafficking synthetic drugs, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing governmental operations and illegal possession of a firearm.
According to court records, officers reported that on June 10, near her Faulkner Road address, Billock was in possession of marijuana wax, marijuana for other than personal use, the Kratom pills, and a glass pipe with marijuana residue, multiple digital scales and vape pens with marijuana residue.
She was charged with hindering governmental operations for taking possession of illegal drugs and paraphernalia into her residence after displaying it to a law enforcement officer and would not answer her door.
Records show the weapons charge was the result of her being in possession of .9mm pistol while in possession of an illegal controlled substance, marijuana and paraphernalia.
Billock was arrested and transported to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton. District Judge Eric Coale issued the $1 million bond at a hearing Tuesday.
