Railroad Junction coming Saturday

Fun, food, cash and entertainment on tap

Complete with good food, arts and crafts, entertainment and an antique car and motorcycle show and cash giveaways, the Flomaton Area Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to the annual Railroad Junction Day festival from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday, Sept. 28, in downtown Flomaton.

Vendors will line Palafox Street with the antique car show also on Palafox and the model train exhibit at Flomaton Town Hall.

WPFL Radio 105.1 will once again hold its cash giveaway, which also includes a new recliner from Barrow Furniture.

A total of $1,500 will be given away with four $250 drawings and one $500 drawing as well as recliner.

To participate in the cash giveaway, visit the WPFL Radio booth in front of Larry White Insurance on Palafox Street.

Participants will be given a ticket and then the participants must visit Emerald Junction Boutique, Angie’s Place/Railroad Nutrition, The Haven, The Cat’s Pajama’s, Barrow Furniture and The Junction Restaurant where the tickets will be signed.

Tickets need to be returned to the WPFL booth. The drawing will be held on the big stage next to the post office at 1 p.m. Participants must be present to win.
