One person was airlifted by helicopter near the Highway 4 bridge over Escambia River Saturday afternoon. Reports state a utility trailer hauled by an SUV became detached, causing the other vehicle to plow into the guardrail. The crash is being investigated by the Florida Highway Patrol and no other information was available.
