Jones accused of abusing a juvenile

A 24-year old Brewton man was arrested last Wednesday and charged with sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years old stemming from incidents that occurred between July 1, 2021 and Dec. 31, 2022.
Levi Stephen Jones, 75 Brantley Lane, was booked into the Escambia County Detention Center and later issued a $250,000 bond.
According to court records Jones is accused of grabbing the hand of the juvenile, who was about 10 at the time, and placing the child's hand on his penis.
Records show the offense occurred at a residence in Brewton.
